THANK YOU!!!!
It was a very busy and tough campaign season. Our candidates participated in 2 meet the candidates events, attended 3 in person events, knocked on 162 doors, sent 300 texts, made 671 phone calls, and sent 4,886 mail pieces to make sure that their message of integrity and transparency reached every corner of our community. And on May 19th the community answered, turning out to vote in a powerful way.
We are grateful to all of you who took the time to exercise your right to vote. Thanks to your support, the district budget passed and Freddie Williams was re-elected to the board. Demymiss Caraballo and Terry Randolph finished in a incredibly close margin. This is a clear sign that their message truly resonated with our neighbors.
The work does not end on Election Day. Our candidates, alongside our dedicated network of volunteers and supporters, remain fully committed to the path ahead. We will continue working constructively with the community to achieve the transparency, accountability, and positive change we campaigned for.
Our mission is to highlight candidates who advocate transparency, integrity, and excellence. We believe that by supporting candidates who prioritize student outcomes, foster a healthy environment for our educators and staff, and are stewards of the district's resources; we can build a stronger foundation for every family in our district.
The Middletown City Schools community has consistently voted to approve the district budget because we know the most important investment we can make is in our kids. We come together to tackle tough issues with innovation, compassion and a shared goal of meeting the needs of all of our students. But shortfalls of leadership are as detrimental as shortfalls in funding. Elected officials entrusted with our most precious public investment, our students, must be held to the highest standard of accountability. In the May 19th election, we have two goals:
- Deliver a budget that allows the district to put students and their families first; retain employees and support programs that directly impact better student outcomes.
- Elect school board members that will prioritize transparency and active community engagement, not favoritism or personal agendas.
Vote Middie Pride has long advocated for the advancement of our schools and community, not the reputations or ego of a small few. Vote for restoration of honesty, transparency, fairness, and stability. Get to know more about the candidates.
